HART TO HEART Romance was ramped up on our magical trip to London with Covent Garden proposal, we even picked out my engagement ring
IT was my first trip to London since before the pandemic and it proved to be the best one ever.
It all started back home in Glasgow when my partner Neil and I enjoyed a romantic overnight journey down on the Caledonian Sleeper with an upgrade to club class (it was bucket lister for me).
But the cherry on top was when he got down on one knee in the middle of the utterly gorgeous Covent Garden and PROPOSED!
That set the scene fun four days of celebrations in the capital.
And we couldn’t have chosen a better base for it than Hart Shoreditch Hotel, which gave us the chance to live like a local in the hip and trendy neighbourhood.
We were set on finding great places to eat, bars to people watch and to clock up the steps in one of the best cities in the world to hang out in — and this place was perfect for all three.
