2023 Water carafes and fountains installation

In our commitment to sustainability and honouring the rich history of East London, we partnered with local artist Will Martin to create something truly unique for our guests.

In our commitment to sustainability and honouring the rich history of East London, we partnered with local artist Will Martin to create something truly unique for our guests. Drawing inspiration from the traditional clay of the East End, Will crafted beautiful water carafes that not only reflect the area’s heritage but also tell a story of craftsmanship and design.

These bespoke carafes were introduced to replace disposable plastic water bottles in all of our rooms. Guests could fill their carafes from the filtered water stations conveniently placed along each corridor. This shift wasn’t just about sustainability—it was about bringing a touch of Shoreditch’s history into every room, allowing visitors to experience the essence of the local craftsmanship first-hand.
