Verrier

In March 2023, we proudly announced our partnership with industrial designer Rezzan Hasoglu. Hasoglu’s creation, “Verrier,” is a stunning installation of hand-blown glass spheres infused with sand from around the world. Suspended from an iron structure and illuminated from below, the spheres cast ripple-like shadows, beautifully complementing our wrought iron spiral staircase. This design pays homage to the silk weavers and Huguenots who shaped 17th-century Spitalfields.

Located in our lobby, this permanent installation reflects the rich trading history of Shoreditch, blending tradition with modern creativity—something we pride ourselves on at Hart Shoreditch. Our hotel, with its 126 elegantly designed rooms featuring locally sourced antiques, bespoke carpets, and fabrics, celebrates the craftsmanship that defines this area.

As we continue to embrace Shoreditch’s cultural heritage, we look forward to partnering with more local artists and remaining a creative hub in East London.
