James Daw

East London based artist/illustrator. Graduate of Camberwell College of Art and Design part of the London Institute where James gained a BA Hons degree in Graphic Design. James worked many years as an abstract painter before turning to illustration working on editorial and fun projects such as designing Christmas Cards for The London Design Museum. James works in collage and mixed media by creating textures, scribbles and splodges that are then cut out and manipulated in Photoshop. Always keeping a sense of play and experimental.  James describe his work as bold, contemporary, and quirky and always with a sense of narrative and thought. James has been included twice for exhibition at The Royal Academy Summer Exhibition. Works and commissions include; Facebook, Netflix, The Guardian, Bombay Sapphire, Jo Malone London, Wired Magazine, Mailchimp, The Design Museum.
